Development of Human Resource and System on Early Warning and Monitoring for Natural Disaster in South-East Asia
In order to mitigate natural disasters caused by such as earthquakes, volcanic activities, landslides, and keep secure environment, the followings are important:
- Development of technologies or sensor system for monitoring and detection of the related phenomena
- Development of methodologies to predict the precursor phenomena
- Study for risk management in social system
- Human resource development of leaders who have skill in both science-technology and risk management.
This exchange program is supported by
Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme
promoted by
the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
Graduate School of Science,
